Something Northamerican Rappers should stop doing

There’s something Northamericans Rappers and Urban Artists, should stop doing as soon as posible, and that is recording with Hispanic Reggaetón singers. It is understandable that in the first instance, in the United States, and especially in the urban sphere, Reggaeton was adopted, as Hispanic Hip Hop; However, despite its great popularity, Reggaeton is not the urban representative of the Hispanic community. The Rap BoomBap, already had been doing in many Latin American countries, as in Spain, since the decade of the 80s.

At the same time, it is understandable that the most sought-after North American artists intend to expand in the urban music market, making use of collaborations with Hispanic Urban artists. However, to the ignorance of the majority of American Rappers, the great majority of artists of Reggaeton, are not followed by an urban public, or close to HipHop tendencies. In fact, and as well as they go personally and economically, the true public Hispanic-speaker Hip Hop, advocates an explicit rejection of this type of music and its artists. Most of the times, the song it’s only acceptable with in the English part, but not the Spanish (shitty and awful rhymes). Therefore, collaborations with the purpose of expanding towards a Spanish-speaking urban public, should be projected and focused to be carried out, with Spanish-speaking HipHop Artists, be they Latin or Spanish.

Algo que los Raperos Norteamericanos deberían dejar de hacer

Hay algo que los Raperos y Artistas Urbanos norteamericanos, deberían dejar de hacer de una vez por todas, y es eso de grabar con Reggaetoneros. Es comprensible que en la una primera instancia, en Estados Unidos, y sobretodo en el ámbito urbano, se adoptara el Reggaeton, como el Hip Hop Hispano; no obstante, y pese a su gran popularidad, el Reggaeton no es el representante urbano de la comunidad Hispana. El Rap BoomBap, ya se venía haciendo en muchos países latinoamericanos, como en España, desde la década de los 80.

Al mismo tiempo, es comprensible que los artistas norteamericanos, mas cotizados, pretendan expandirse en el mercado de música urbana, haciendo uso de colaboraciones con artistas Urbanos Hispanos. No obstante, a desconocimiento de la mayoría de Raperos Estadounidenses, la gran mayoría de artistas del Reggaeton, no son secudndados por un público urbano, o cercano a las tendencias HipHop.

De hecho, y por muy bien que les vaya personal y económicamente, el verdadero público HipHop Hispanoparlante, propugna un rechazo explícito hacia este tipo de música y sus artistas. En la mayoría de los casos, las canciones son solamente aceptables, en la parte cantada en inglés, no en español (rimas de mierda). Por tanto, las colaboraciones con el propósito de expansión hacia un público urbano hispanoparlante, deberían ser proyectadas y enfocadas a ser realizadas, con Artistas del HipHop hispanoparlante, ya sean latinos o españoles.
